Join Trainers across the globe who are discovering Pokémon as they explore the world around them. The newest update to Pokémon GO, the global gaming sensation that has been downloaded over 750 million times and named “Best Mobile Game” by The Game Developers Choice Awards and “Best App of the Year” by TechCrunch, introduced a revamped Gym gameplay experience, including the opportunity to join together with others to battle against powerful Pokémon in the new Raid Battle feature!

Venusaur, Charizard, Blastoise, Pikachu, and many other Pokémon have been discovered!
Now’s your chance to discover and capture the Pokémon all around you—so get your shoes on, step outside, and explore the world. You’ll join one of three teams and battle for the ownership of Gyms with your Pokémon at your side.

Pokémon are out there, and you need to find them. As you walk around a neighborhood, your smartphone will vibrate when there’s a Pokémon nearby. Take aim and throw a Poké Ball… You’ll have to stay alert, or it might get away!

Search far and wide for Pokémon and items
Certain Pokémon appear near their native environment—look for Water-type Pokémon by lakes and oceans. Visit PokéStops and Gyms—found at interesting places like museums, art installations, historical markers, and monuments—to stock up on Poké Balls and helpful items.

Catching, hatching, evolving, and more
As you level up, you’ll be able to catch more-powerful Pokémon to complete your Pokédex. You can add to your collection by hatching Pokémon Eggs based on the distances you walk. Help your Pokémon evolve by catching many of the same kind. Choose a Buddy Pokémon to walk with and earn Candy that will help you make your Pokémon stronger.

Take on Gym battles and defend your Gym
As your Charmander evolves to Charmeleon and then Charizard, you can battle together to defeat a Gym and assign your Pokémon to defend it against all comers. You can also participate in Raid Battles at Gyms around the world. A Raid Battle is a cooperative gameplay experience that encourages you to work with up to 20 other Trainers to defeat an extremely powerful Pokémon known as the Raid Boss. If you succeed in defeating it in battle, you’ll have the chance to catch an extra powerful Pokémon of your own!

It’s time to get moving—your real-life adventures await!

Wow they killed pokestops. 2 items per spin. N daily bonus is like 4 or 5. Money it's all they want. Pokémon was made for fun and enjoyment. Sure they make money but they always find a way to make the game better each generation. But now the fun has ended when you must pay real money for just a few poke balls. N during good events that bring us together to play. N no stops within a few miles. N to only get maybe 3 balls a day :( Full Review

The game is good and fun. Missing just a few aspects to make it a great 5 star worthy game. Like trading, PvP battles, and possibly an elite four system. Really enjoyed the original tracker which they should bring back, even if alongside the existing one. Made it feel more real. Either way, they're hands are tied with a lot of stuff from Nintend and gamefreak and they are constantly updating the game. So I give em props for that. Full Review

This is my favorite thing to do alone or with friends but think you should work with google maps, pvp, and pokecenters for serious gym challengers. A global clock to see total amount of gyms controlled by which team ( live feed) it seems that most androids have a hard time with the AR function. Battery consumption is better but still needs love. I have yet to see any improvements on the app that is plausible. I'd love to battle someone 1v1 instead just catching the same Pokémon over & over again. I would like to keep the tracker on in the background without keeping the app open and killing my mf battery. >.> Besides, there is no pokestops nearby unless I drive to it. Fix some of the things that people asked. We will be good. ☺ Full Review

I love this game, but there's a couple things that would make it better, like having to keep the app open to count your steps, but if you leave your app open it drains your battery really fast. Also wish that new pokemon would appear more often rather than the same ones all the time. The last thing that needs improvement is the length of time that it takes to open the app, bc it takes forever for it to load when opening. Other than those things, I really like this game and have been playing it faithfully since I started it back in July 2016. So overall, its a really awesome game! Full Review

It's great, but I wish training Pokemon was more based on battling than catching. I also would love to see Pokemon interacting with the environment a little more. Finally, I would like to implore the developers to add trading and battling as soon as possible. P.S. Will there be Pokemon Contests and other such things in the future? I'd love to try my hand at being a Pokemon Co-ordinator. Full Review

This is a great way to bring back pokemon, although there are a few bugs here and there, im sure once they update the game theyll be fixed. This game is addictive and very well made. 10/10 best pokemon game so far. (in my opinion) I highly reccomend this game to pokemon fans out there. Its a great way to play the game you love, while being active and meeting fellow trainers around the world. Only thing i reccomend is having a 1v1 feature/tournaments with fellow trainers and a bit better loot from pokestops now and then. Full Review

There's only a couple pokemon that are worth using for battling. Tracking when you're walking isn't accurate all the time. Seems to be open to bots as there's some guys with multiple dragonites, etc. Would be nice if you could get, for example, an Alakazam or Victreebel that could actually be worth something Edit: still pretty much the same come Dec 2017. My top six includes 5 Rhydon and a Vaporeon. Good to play while I'm shopping or walking around but I've lost the lust to play all the time like before. Full Review

Awesome. Can't wait for the newest version as far as like collecting Pokemon. Especially Eevee evolutions! Can't wait to collect all of them! But I do hope that Niantic decides to make it to where we get Pokecoins from each Pokemon that returns from a gyme because it would not make since if only one of them a day gives you 50 coins. But, they could have just made us pay for them... Or maybe I'm just being gready. Sigh. I don't know but I hope they do that. -_-' Full Review

Yeah, no. I've been playing for 4 days now, and haven't been able to get a single revive from any of the (many) pokestops l've been spinning. How are we meant to use gyms if we can't revive our Pokemon afterwards? This change is actually game breaking, and if it continues I'll be deleting my account. Full Review

I like this game very much because it is very interactive and also it is not like any other game where I just have to paly in one place. But in Pokemon go I have to move in real world and catch Pokemon outside . I liked every thing in this game from graphics to gameplay . I request Niantic to allow player to use their Pokemon to catch wild Pokemon not only by using Berry's and pokeballs . If nianctic liked my idea I hope the gameplay will me much better and interactive . And also please setup virtual poke center where players can keep their Pokemon and exchange them and also if they don't have any revive potion then they can heal their Pokemon using poke coins. That's all I request Niantic to fulfil.I hope they will help me ........... Full Review

Love this game and the updates so far are a nice balance between maintenance and new content. Personally I try to fill my pokedex with wild catches rather than evolving which makes the game more challenging and interesting. One suggestion: with the pokemon count now over 350 it's becoming quote annoying to scroll through the pokedex. I would suggest to add tabs for each generation / region so you can skip there directly. Full Review

The game was fun when it worked properly. Now it is filled with cheaters and they removed the most important function of the game. Without footsteps, we cannot find pokemon near us, without that, we basically cannot play the game properly. The game still has glitches that were in the game since day one. Only reason I'm giving it two stars is because the game was fun to play during the first few weeks. Really disappointing coming from someone that loves the main series. Full Review

Latest update has issues, GPS won't connect so shows me with no location. (my device GPS works perfectly in other apps) 14/Dec. An incredible and captivating game, promotes exercise. You don't need to understand the original pokemon games, it's pretty user friendly. Great for getting out and exploring your local city. Despite being really awesome it has plenty of teething issues, such as the servers being down often, and freezing just when I've caught a pokemon so have to reload the game and loose the pokemon (I've lost a few very rare pokemon that way). I love the buddy choices but. I only see them in the profile. It is ok if you don't add these. But if you do I would be so delighted! Kind Regards - Amy Full Review

Of course there are bugs, of course there are times when it feels monotonous and the total time spent drops until the next big change. The important but for a 5 star game is the total direction and Pokémon Go is here to stay. Well done Niantic for not failing with the legendary IP. Would have been a big waste. Full Review
